Why Saathi Exists
The Critical Need for Awareness
Leading Cause: Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in India, affecting thousands of women annually.
Early Detection Impact: Awareness and early detection dramatically improve survival rates, with detection at stage 1 having a 95% survival rate.
Accessibility Gap: There is a lack of easily accessible awareness programmes, especially for youth and educational institutions.
Club Engagement: Many clubs and schools want to contribute but don't know how to start meaningful breast cancer awareness initiatives.

Create youth-friendly and accessible awareness programmes about breast cancer prevention, early detection, and support resources.
Facilitate Screenings
Organize and support screening camps and check-up programmes in partnership with healthcare institutions and medical professionals.
Mobilize Clubs
Engage Rotaract and Interact Clubs to run awareness drives and create a network of youth advocates for breast cancer awareness.
Build Networks
Create a pan-district collaborative network for long-term outreach and sustainable impact across regions and communities.
Provide Resources
Offer verified resources including FAQs, contact details, downloadable content, and social media toolkits for clubs to use.
Support Community
Build a supportive community where survivors, families, and advocates can connect, share experiences, and provide mutual support.
