Understanding Our Service Framework
What is Rotaract?
Rotaract is a global service organization for young adults aged 18-30, part of the Rotary family. We're dedicated to developing leadership skills while addressing community needs through service projects.
Our club operates through four Areas of Avenues, each designed to create comprehensive impact while developing our members' skills and global awareness.
This structure ensures we address both immediate community needsand long-term sustainable change through strategic, well-organized service initiatives.
Our Mission
To provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Rotaract's Areas of Focus
Our service activities are guided by seven global Areas of Focus established by Rotary International. These focus areas help us align our local impact with worldwide priorities, ensuring our efforts contribute to solving humanity's most pressing challenges.
Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution
Building communities that foster peace, prevent conflict, and resolve disputes through dialogue, education, and collaborative problem-solving.
Disease Prevention and Treatment
Improving healthcare access and outcomes through prevention programs, medical camps, and health education initiatives.
Water and Sanitation
Ensuring access to clean water and proper sanitation facilities while promoting hygiene education in underserved communities.
Maternal and Child Health
Supporting the health and wellbeing of mothers and children through healthcare services, nutrition programs, and education.
Basic Education and Literacy
Promoting education access and literacy development to empower individuals and strengthen communities worldwide.

How Our Projects Align with Areas of Focus
Multi-Focus Approach
Many of our flagship projects address multiple Areas of Focus simultaneously. For example, Project Unnati combines Environment (waste recycling) with Basic Education (providing notebooks to students).
