Project Rakt Setu
Saving lives through regular blood donation camps and thalassemia awareness - building a compassionate network that connects donors with those in urgent need.
A Lifeline of Hope and Humanity
Project Rakt Setu is dedicated to saving lives by organizing regular blood donation camps and raising awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and thalassemia prevention. We aim to build a strong, compassionate network that connects generous donors with those in urgent need.
Our Mission & Purpose
Why Blood Donation Matters
Critical Need: India faces a shortage of 3 million units of blood annually, with only 1% of eligible population donating blood regularly.
Thalassemia Awareness: Over 42 million people in India carry the thalassemia gene, requiring regular blood transfusions for survival.
Emergency Response: Accident victims, cancer patients, and mothers during childbirth depend on the generosity of voluntary donors.
Our Vision
To create a society where no life is lost due to blood shortage and where every individual is aware of thalassemia prevention, building a network of compassionate donors.
